iogordo is a typical Moorish style "white" rural Spanish village. It nestles at an altitude of 400 metres in the hills just 35 minutes drive inland from Malaga Airport in the Axarquia region of Andalucia in Southern Spain. The area benefits from its proximity to the coastal urban developments but has generally remained unaffected by them so retains its local character and identity.
Calle Olivillo is an old property that has undergone extensive refit and renovation, yet retains all the characteristics of a Spanish house with its accommodation on multiple levels. The house is about five minutes walk away from the town centre, where you will find mini supermarkets, bars, food stores and banks. Please remember that the town enjoys a two hour "siesta" each afternoon. Most facilities generally stay open until at least 20:00 hrs at night, and later in the summer.
